Mikania micrantha is a plant the
grass propagates and originates from the tropical regions of Southeast Asia,
namely Indonesia or Malaysia wilderness. From Southeast Asia, this grass
spreads to areas of Central America and other tropical areas such as Sri Lanka,
Malagasy, Caribbean, Hawaii, and Northern Australia.
